Let’s forcus on two elements that will help you the most;
- Web pages that present relevant content.
- A website that expresses empathy and your brand values.
Let’s take a client focused approach as this not only going to make this a simpler process but it’s going to eliminate guess work, internal opinions and ego.
If we focus on your existing and potential clients’ tasks with scenario planning to create the best possible webpages you will create an improved website that's relevant.
A good place to start is separate the website into two components – content and function.
The content will define the looks and functional elements act as a vehicle to get to where they need to be or to find the content they are looking for. Typically they include; header, footer, navigation, sub menus and online forms. These elements on the web page should just be intuitive to use.
The main navigation elements are only there to guide your website visitors from A to B. Adorn these elements with distracting colours or graphic elements at your peril.
